Prayer Request

I recieved this prayer request from Susan Alderson today--
" Last year, Cassidy (4-yrs. old) was diagnosed with "coarctation of the aorta". This is basically a narrowing of the aorta which returns blood back from the heart to the lower extremities. As a result, the blood pressure gets higher on one side of the narrowing and lower on the other. When we went for her check-up recently, we found out that her condition has progressed and that it will only get worse as time goes by. We were told that she will need heart surgery, the only question is when. This is quite a change from when she was diagnosed and we were told that her condition could improve, get worse or remain the same. It's scary to think about her having heart surgery. We still believe that God can work miracles and we are praying that God will correct her problem and when we go back in 6-months, we will blow Dr. Teixeira out of the water. Secondly - last week I received a phone call from Cassidy's pediatrician to inform me that they think she also has a blood disorder called Von Willebrand disease. Cassidy will be seeing a hematologist next week for further investigation. Needless to say, Greg and I are on edge at this time and very concerned for Cassidy's health. We still believe that God can work miracles and are asking for prayers for Cassidy in regards to both health issues. Our church had alter prayer this past Sunday for Cassidy. I ask that you remember our daughter Cassidy in your prayers. "
